Tervetuloa!

Welcome to the VFSC! As you can imagine (because we're a sports club) we are more than excited about the Olympics coming to Vancouver this winter! We're working with clubs from the other Scandinavian countries to make our home - the Scandinavian Community Centre in Burnaby - a place where everyone can go to watch the events and socialize in a fun community setting.

A bit more about the club in general: Our goal is to keep the Finnish, Scandinavian, and the lower mainland in general involved in sports and recreation, with a Finnish twist. Some of our key events for the rest of the year are the Paavo Nurmi Run, Lumileikkipäivä, Club Nights, and Carlsberg Cup Wife Carrying Contest!
